2015.
January 3rd @ 17:38 \ First visit of the new year to commemorate my very good friend AW who is having her 30th birthday today.
January 22nd @ 16:16 \ Today was a brilliant day. Sunny and warm. Lots of things to be happy about this month.
February 7th
March 12th @ 16:57 \ Tropical weather in YEG at 12C.
March 22nd @ 16:06 \ A fresh 10 inches of snow makes for a blinding landscape.
May 6th @ 21:44 \ A later shot of The Granary as I attended an open house for a college program tonight. I'm going to apply. It feels a bit of a whirl wind compared to the year long research I did of art schools before settling on ACAD. I've not even thought on how I'm going to manage financially. This program promises to take my diverse background and experiences and knit them nicely together in a long term, stable career that would allow me to work anywhere, which I crave.
June 6th @ 17:19 \ It's been a little while since I've been out at The Granary. Perfect day at 28C to roll down the window and play some music while blasting along back roads.
June 20th
August 3rd @ 16:42 \ They're difficult to see, but houses are creeping closer. An apartment building is going up in the neighbourhood to the east. Large trenches are being dug for pipelines and cables as well. Yet, this one still stands, witnessing it all. I've been saying I don't know how long it'll be here for a few years now. I think it's time to put a little more faith into the granary and let it be.
August 30th \ It's difficult to see but the street is taking shape behind The Granary. Street lamps are up and houses are being built too. The background is going to get much busier soon. No more canola or wheat with the seemingly endless prairie.
October 27th \ I turned 30 today. I was born around 12:30 am just after daylight savings and along with the first snowfall of the year. It was also a full moon, like tonight. I'm full of love and food, having had great conversations and being spoiled with gifts and well wishes from family and friends. I feel very happy today.
December 4th \ It's a little scary seeing how close the new houses are getting. Still, we're here and we're going to keep doing this.
December 24th @ 13:24 \ Merry Christmas everyone! It is in colour. The country gets rather monochrome in winter. You can just make out the orange of the tarps on the garage on the new house in the back. I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store.
